Everything Your Home Solar Needs
From government subsidy to smart monitoring — Treflik Solar handles the complete residential solar experience.
PM Surya Ghar Subsidy
The government's PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana offers up to ₹78,000 subsidy for a 3 kW residential system. Treflik handles the complete application.
Optional Battery Backup
Add a lithium battery for power during grid outages — keeping essential loads running through the night or during load shedding.
Smart App Monitoring
Monitor real-time generation, consumption, savings, and battery status from your phone. Monthly reports delivered automatically.
25-Year Panel Warranty
All residential systems use Tier-1 monocrystalline panels with a 25-year linear performance warranty — minimum 80% output guaranteed.
Home Solar System Facts
Key numbers for a typical residential solar installation in Maharashtra.
Most Maharashtra households require a 3–5 kW system to cover 80–100% of their daytime electricity consumption.
All Treflik residential panels carry a 25-year linear performance warranty — minimum 80% output guaranteed at Year 25.
After PM Surya Ghar subsidy of up to ₹78,000, net installed cost for a 3 kW system is typically ₹1.2–1.8 lakh.
Solar with Zero Upfront Cost
Treflik Solar partners with leading banks and NBFCs to offer solar home loans with EMIs starting from ₹3,200/month for a 3 kW system. In most cases, your monthly electricity savings exceed your EMI — making your solar investment cash-flow positive from Day 1.

Home Solar Questions
Net metering allows you to export surplus solar generation to the MSEDCL grid and receive credits on your electricity bill. When your solar panels produce more electricity than your home consumes — typically during sunny mid-day hours — the excess flows back to the grid. Your electricity meter records both import and export; at billing time, you pay only for net units consumed (imports minus exports). In Maharashtra, net metering is available for residential systems up to 500 kW. Treflik handles the complete MSEDCL application and coordinates the bi-directional meter installation.
Battery backup is optional for grid-tied systems. Without a battery, your system runs on solar during the day and draws from the grid at night — using net metering credits to offset nighttime grid costs. A battery is recommended if you experience frequent grid outages (load shedding) or want energy independence for essential loads (fans, lights, fridge) during power cuts. Treflik's 3 kW and 5 kW systems use hybrid inverters that are battery-ready, so you can add storage later without replacing the inverter.
Home solar systems require minimal maintenance. We recommend cleaning panels every 2–3 months — either yourself with a soft cloth and water, or through our annual maintenance contract. The inverter should be inspected annually. There are no moving parts in a solar system, so mechanical failures are extremely rare. All Treflik residential installations include a 5-year workmanship warranty and we offer comprehensive annual maintenance packages starting from ₹3,500/year.
Roof orientation significantly affects annual generation. In Maharashtra, a south-facing roof at a 15–20° tilt is optimal, generating up to 20% more than a flat roof. East- or west-facing roofs generate 10–15% less than south-facing, but are still viable and commonly used. North-facing installations are not recommended as the primary direction. Most residential rooftops have multiple surfaces — our design team will assess your specific roof geometry and optimise panel placement for maximum annual yield.
