Estimator Disclaimer

Important information about the limitations and assumptions of the Treflik Solar Savings Estimator.

Last updated: March 2026

1. Purpose of the Estimator

The Treflik Solar Savings Estimator is provided as a free, indicative planning tool to help property owners and businesses understand the potential scale of solar benefits. It is designed to support early-stage decision making and to facilitate informed conversations with our engineering team.

2. No Binding Commercial Quotation

Estimates produced by this tool do not constitute a formal solar proposal, commercial quotation, or guarantee of savings. They are indicative in nature and are not binding on Treflik Solar Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or any of its affiliates, agents, or partners. A binding proposal can only be issued following a full site survey conducted by a qualified Treflik engineer.

3. Assumptions Used

All calculations use the following standard assumptions: (1) Solar irradiation of 5.5 peak sun hours per day, based on Maharashtra state average; (2) Solar generation of 4 units (kWh) per kWp per day, equivalent to 1,460 units per kWp per year; (3) Grid electricity tariff of ₹8 per unit (kWh), representing a blended average; (4) Installed system cost of ₹50,000 per kWp; (5) CO₂ emission factor of 0.82 kg CO₂ per kWh (India grid average). These assumptions may not reflect your specific site, tariff slab, or installation conditions.

4. External Factors Not Accounted For

The estimator does not account for: roof shading, orientation, or tilt angle; structural limitations of the roof; specific DISCOM tariff slab applicable to your connection; applicable demand charges or time-of-day tariffs; battery storage integration costs or benefits; equipment degradation over the system life; cleaning and maintenance costs; insurance costs; or local government levies and charges.

5. Regulatory and Tariff Changes

Solar savings are significantly influenced by electricity tariff rates, net metering regulations, and government subsidy programmes, all of which are subject to change by MERC (Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission), MSEDCL, and the Government of India. Treflik Solar makes no representation that current regulatory conditions will persist for the duration shown in any estimate.

6. Contact for Accurate Assessment

For a detailed, site-specific financial model and technical proposal, please contact our team to arrange an on-site assessment. Our engineers will conduct a shadow analysis, roof structural review, load profile assessment, and tariff analysis, and will deliver a bankable financial proposal within 10 business days.
